About
Kristen Min Chan · Austin, TX
I work in AI enablement and automation. The part I am best at is the part many AI rollouts skip: helping busy, non-technical teams actually use new tools in their daily work, and staying close until it becomes habit.
How I work
- RelatorI align the people around a change early: the manager who sponsors it, the team who builds it, and the users who live with it. That is how monitoring data turned into a 51% cut in one workspace’s capacity use.
- LearnerI learn the new tool first, fast, with AI as my tutor, then teach it in plain language, with live demos and short guides, as on the new data platform.
- IndividualizationI start from the team, not the tool. The useful question is not "which tool is best?" but "which workflow fits the people doing this work?"
- IdeationI prototype quickly and build in public. Through Automating Min I share working automations, including Claude skills I wrote myself, so people can see what these tools actually do instead of hearing about them.
- DeveloperI do not hand over and walk away. Office hours, live demos and guides helped 200+ colleagues move to a new platform, and I stay available while people settle in.
My CliftonStrengths Top 5 (Gallup).
- Why did you build Mini Min?
- So you don’t have to dig for proof. Tell Mini Min what you’re hiring for, and she takes you to the matching work. She is also my work, shown instead of described. One honest note: her answers are written in advance and approved by me, not generated live. When she can’t answer, she points you to me on LinkedIn.
- What can AI do for people?
- Take the busywork, so people can put their attention on what actually needs it. One of my workflows turned a monthly permission audit into under an hour of my time.
- What are you looking for?
- Full-time roles in AI Enablement, AI Adoption or AI Automation, where I bring AI into a team's daily work and stay close while it takes hold. Remote, or hybrid in Austin, TX. Through Automating Min, I also take on AI automation and integration projects.
Outside work
I love learning and building things, and I like making someone's day a little easier.
